What mattress is better than Saatva?
Established in 2010, Saatva specializes in direct-to-consumer high-end bed mattress under three brand names: Saatva, Loom & Leaf, and Zenhaven. Pocketed coils give the Saatva Classic a great amount of bounce near the top, and a luxurious top adds softness. As with all of the Saatva Company’s mattresses, the Saatva Classic is delivered by movers, rather than in a box.
Factors to consider: Yo Korean Mattress
The Saatva’s comfort system utilizes thinner layers of foam than numerous hybrid designs. These thinner layers of foam combined with the Euro-top’s fiber fill soak up some motion, decreasing how much motion is felt across the surface of the bed. Sleepers may still experience some movement transfer when their partner modifications position or gets up throughout the night due to the bed mattress’s 2 layers of springs. Thanks to its softer feel, the Plush Soft variation of the Saatva absorbs slightly more movement than the Luxury Firm and Firm alternatives.
While all of the Saatva firmness options have pressure-relieving potential, the amount of pressure relief that a private experiences on the mattress will vary based partially on their weight and sleep position. People who weigh under 130 pounds will likely experience the most push relief on the Luxurious Soft variation of the bed mattress, while sleepers over 230 pounds will likely get the best balance of contouring and support from the Company variation.
Keep in mind: Saatva just recently updated the Zenhaven, changing the kind of latex used in its foam layers. The Zenhaven now features Dunlop latex, instead of Talalay latex; learn more about the distinctions listed below. We plan to test the new version quickly and will upgrade this guide with our impressions.
The Zenhaven is also flippable (the High-end Plush side feels medium-firm, while the Gentle Company side feels a bit firmer), which may prove handy if you’re not sure what you prefer or if your requirements alter over time. This is not a traditionally soft bed mattress, however it provides a flexible cushion, excellent edge assistance, and a subtle springiness.
These bed mattress were also assessed in our group tests performed for Wirecutter’s guides to the finest foam bed mattress and the best innerspring bed mattress. As Wirecutter’s senior personnel writer for sleep, I’ve talked to scores of experts in the mattress market and in products science; gone to dozens of bed mattress showrooms, shops, and factories; and pored over the fine print on specifications, warranties, and return policies.
Understanding Saatva Saatva’s portfolio of beds– lots of with an option of firmness levels and accommodating almost every convenience choice– consists of: Saatva Classic ( innerspring).
Loom & Leaf ( all foam).
Zenhaven ( all latex).
Saatva Latex Hybrid ( latex with coils).
Solaire ( a bed with adjustable air chambers). Yo Korean Mattress

We haven’t yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “environmentally friendly” brand names. However we do understand that the business uses thistle pulp or natural wool as a flame retardant (instead of chemicals or fiberglass) and only natural cotton (instead of synthetic blends) in its covers. As do other online mattress business, Saatva touts such additionals as zoned layers for “optimal spinal column assistance”; we’re less amazed with those features and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer service and long lasting foams and coils.
