What mattress is better than Saatva?
Founded in 2010, Saatva focuses on direct-to-consumer luxury mattresses under 3 trademark name: Saatva, Loom & Leaf, and Zenhaven. Between these 3 brand names, the business offers numerous mattress designs, including the all-foam Loom & Leaf;& Leaf; the latex Zenhaven; the airbed, Solaire; and the hybrid Saatva. Suitable for: Individuals with more particular firmness choices Sleepers of any size and sleep position Those who tend to sleep hot Couples searching for a mix of pressure relief and bounce A lot of online bed mattress are hybrids or foams, so the Saatva Classic sticks out. As with all of the Saatva Business’s bed mattress, the Saatva Classic is delivered by movers, rather than in a box. Saatva also offers a generous 180-day trial period and simple returns.
Factors to consider: Saatva Vs Beautyrest Hybrid
When their partner stirs might discover the Saatva transfers more movement than ideal, people who are quickly awoken People who like the hug of memory foam may not feel the Saatva conforms closely sufficient The Saatva’s convenience system uses thinner layers of foam than numerous hybrid models. Note: Saatva just recently upgraded the Zenhaven, altering the kind of latex used in its foam layers. The Zenhaven now includes Dunlop latex, instead of Talalay latex; learn more about the differences listed below. We plan to check the new version soon and will update this guide with our impressions.
The Zenhaven is also flippable (the High-end Plush side feels medium-firm, while the Gentle Firm side feels a bit firmer), which might show valuable if you’re not sure what you choose or if your requirements change over time. This is not a traditionally soft bed mattress, but it provides a supple cushion, good edge assistance, and a subtle springiness.
For this evaluation, I slept on the Saatva Classic, the Loom & Leaf, and the Zenhaven bed mattress for a number of weeks in my own home. These mattresses were also assessed in our group tests conducted for Wirecutter’s guides to the best foam mattresses and the finest innerspring mattresses. As Wirecutter’s senior personnel author for sleep, I’ve spoken with ratings of experts in the mattress industry and in materials science; checked out dozens of mattress factories, display rooms, and stores; and pored over the small print on requirements, service warranties, and return policies. Most recently, monitoring editor Courtney Schley examined the Saatva Latex Hybrid in her house for a number of weeks.
Making sense of Saatva Saatva’s portfolio of beds– lots of with an option of firmness levels and catering to practically every convenience choice– consists of: Saatva Classic ( innerspring).

Saatva Youth ( a foam-coil hybrid for kids ages 3 through 12).
We have not yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “environment-friendly” brand names. We do understand that the company uses thistle pulp or natural wool as a flame retardant (as opposed to chemicals or fiberglass) and only natural cotton (rather of artificial blends) in its covers. As do other online mattress companies, Saatva touts such extras as zoned layers for “ideal spinal column support”; we’re less impressed with those functions and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer support and long lasting foams and coils.
