What mattress is better than Saatva?
Established in 2010, Saatva specializes in direct-to-consumer high-end mattresses under 3 brand names: Saatva, Loom & Leaf, and Zenhaven. Pocketed coils offer the Saatva Classic a great quantity of bounce near the top, and a plush top adds softness. As with all of the Saatva Company’s mattresses, the Saatva Classic is delivered by movers, rather than in a box.

Note: Saatva recently upgraded the Zenhaven, changing the type of latex utilized in its foam layers. The Zenhaven now includes Dunlop latex, instead of Talalay latex; learn more about the differences listed below. We plan to evaluate the new version soon and will update this guide with our impressions.
The all-foam Zenhaven consists mostly of latex, which is fundamentally durable. The Zenhaven is likewise flippable (the Luxury Plush side feels medium-firm, while the Gentle Firm side feels a bit firmer), which may prove valuable if you’re uncertain what you prefer or if your needs change gradually. This is not a conventionally soft mattress, however it offers a supple cushion, excellent edge assistance, and a subtle springiness. Offered its natural sturdiness, the Zenhaven must work well for individuals who weigh more than 200 pounds.

We haven’t yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “environment-friendly” brand names. We do understand that the company utilizes thistle pulp or organic wool as a flame retardant (as opposed to fiberglass or chemicals) and only natural cotton (rather of artificial blends) in its covers. As do other online bed mattress business, Saatva promotes such additionals as zoned layers for “optimum spine assistance”; we’re less satisfied with those functions and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer care and long lasting foams and coils.
