What mattress is better than Saatva?
Established in 2010, Saatva specializes in direct-to-consumer high-end mattresses under three brand name names: Saatva, Loom & Leaf, and Zenhaven. Pocketed coils offer the Saatva Classic a great quantity of bounce near the top, and a luxurious top adds softness. As with all of the Saatva Business’s bed mattress, the Saatva Classic is provided by movers, rather than in a box.

Note: Saatva just recently upgraded the Zenhaven, changing the type of latex used in its foam layers. The Zenhaven now features Dunlop latex, instead of Talalay latex; find out more about the differences below. We plan to evaluate the brand-new version soon and will upgrade this guide with our impressions.
The all-foam Zenhaven consists mainly of latex, which is fundamentally resilient. The Zenhaven is also flippable (the High-end Plush side feels medium-firm, while the Mild Firm side feels a bit firmer), which might prove handy if you’re unsure what you choose or if your needs change with time. This is not a conventionally soft mattress, but it uses a supple cushion, great edge support, and a subtle springiness. Given its natural durability, the Zenhaven ought to work well for individuals who weigh more than 200 pounds.
For this review, I slept on the Saatva Classic, the Loom & Leaf, and the Zenhaven bed mattress for a number of weeks in my own house. These bed mattress were also assessed in our group tests performed for Wirecutter’s guides to the finest foam bed mattress and the finest innerspring bed mattress. As Wirecutter’s senior personnel author for sleep, I’ve talked to ratings of professionals in the bed mattress industry and in materials science; visited lots of mattress display rooms, factories, and shops; and read the fine print on requirements, guarantees, and return policies. Most recently, supervising editor Courtney Schley assessed the Saatva Latex Hybrid in her home for several weeks.
Understanding Saatva Saatva’s portfolio of beds– many with a choice of firmness levels and accommodating practically every comfort choice– consists of: Saatva Classic ( innerspring).
Loom & Leaf ( all foam).
Zenhaven ( all latex).
Saatva Latex Hybrid ( latex with coils).
Solaire ( a bed with adjustable air chambers). Saatva Foam Mattress Topper Review
Saatva HD ( a latex-coil hybrid designed for sleepers who weigh 300 to 500 pounds).
Saatva Youth ( a foam-coil hybrid for kids ages 3 through 12).
We haven’t yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “eco-friendly” brands. We do understand that the company utilizes thistle pulp or natural wool as a flame retardant (as opposed to fiberglass or chemicals) and just natural cotton (rather of artificial blends) in its covers. As do other online bed mattress companies, Saatva promotes such extras as zoned layers for “optimal spine assistance”; we’re less satisfied with those functions and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer care and resilient foams and coils.
