What mattress is better than Saatva?
Founded in 2010, Saatva specializes in direct-to-consumer high-end mattresses under 3 brand name names: Saatva, Loom & Leaf, and Zenhaven. Pocketed coils offer the Saatva Classic a good amount of bounce near the top, and a plush top includes softness. As with all of the Saatva Company’s bed mattress, the Saatva Classic is provided by movers, rather than in a box.

People who are easily awoken when their partner stirs might find the Saatva transfers more movement than suitable Individuals who like the hug of memory foam might not feel the Saatva conforms closely sufficient The Saatva’s comfort system utilizes thinner layers of foam than lots of hybrid models. Instead, it uses an extra layer of springs within the
Note: Saatva recently upgraded the Zenhaven, altering the type of latex used in its foam layers. The Zenhaven now includes Dunlop latex, instead of Talalay latex; find out more about the differences below. We plan to check the new version quickly and will update this guide with our impressions.
The all-foam Zenhaven consists mainly of latex, which is fundamentally durable. The Zenhaven is also flippable (the High-end Plush side feels medium-firm, while the Mild Firm side feels a bit firmer), which might prove handy if you’re not sure what you choose or if your needs change gradually. This is not a traditionally cushy bed mattress, however it offers a flexible cushion, good edge support, and a subtle springiness. Offered its inherent resilience, the Zenhaven should work well for people who weigh more than 200 pounds.

We have not yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “eco-friendly” brand names. We do know that the business utilizes thistle pulp or organic wool as a flame retardant (as opposed to fiberglass or chemicals) and only natural cotton (instead of synthetic blends) in its covers. As do other online mattress business, Saatva touts such extras as zoned layers for “ideal spine support”; we’re less satisfied with those functions and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive client service and durable foams and coils.
